Hospital
Would anyone know the name of the hospital in St Albans which dealt with people with Gangrene?.I am tracing my family tree & know my Mam was a nurse on such a ward there in late 1930's & I would be grateful for any information.She was born in Wallsend ( in North East England ),went to work in St Alban's,met my Father who lived in London,got married & lived in Harrow Weald.They did get divorced when I was young (& both are dead now ).These are questions which I should have asked but when I was young these things were not discussed.
