In the 1881 census. 6, Albert Tce., Croydon,Surrey. RG 11/ 820 John Noakes 38, Carpenter born Stamford, Essex. Elizabeth ( wife) 35, Florence dau 7, born Red Hill, Surrey. Gertrude dau. 3, born Croydon, Surrey. I can find no other censuses where they are in, Y?. I know that Gert. was a nursemaid to a Lord & Lady somewhere in Croydon because I've a photograph of her in her uniform, I also know that in 1901 she married Fred Warren in Croydon ( 2A 604) went to live in Cheshire & before she died in 1949 she & Fred had had 10 children. I'm hoping to get info of what happened to the sister Florence for their 90 year old surviving daughter. ( my friend)

On the 1841 census Robert Griffith abt 1811,Elizabeth abt 1811, George abt 1830 live in Pig Market St. Amlwch. in *51 Rbt is a Landagent & Geo a Solicitors clerk,in *61 Rbt's a Server, Geo is an Iron Founder. I can find no more about mum & dad, goes onto Geo(son)who sign's himself as George Silkstone Griffith ( 1881cen) he is now an Accountant, living in Everton,with wife Ellen (39)& son Robt.George.Silkstone.(9)all born in Amlwch.In *91 Ellen is a widow,Boarding hse keeper. can't find when he died.

I am researching the family of George Paynter born 1822 Amlwch,or some Census list his birth place as Cermais. He worked as a Ships Steward in Liverpool. He married Jane Pritchard who was born in St.Aspah Flintshire(1832) in Holywell 1852, and died in 1904 in Liverpool. They has six children. I would appreciate any help anyone can offer about this family. Thank you.

Am seeking any info on Rowland Williams and his father,John. Both were miners, and Rowland married Grace Roberts on 26/4/1853. Her father, Evan was also a miner.Grace and Rowland had a daughter, Jane(b1855), she was my great, great grandmother.

trying to find information on the Rowland/s family. I know that blacksmith Richard was born in 1794 and married an Ellinor Jones. They went on to have a number of children, including another Richard in 1827 who was also a blacksmith. As was his brother George (1835-1902) Richard married Hannah and they had three children that I know of. One of these was my Great grandma Margaret. Any information on this family would be brilliant.

My great grandfather was William Jones a mariner born 2nd May 1862 in Amlwch Anglesey Wales. His parents were John Jones also a mariner and Mary Williams. He migrated to Australia about 1888.I would love to find any information
