GILBERT and BUCK in Blaenavon
I am researching my Grandfather, William Henry GILBERT, born 1890, who was raised by members of the BUCK family, particularly Richard Prince BUCK. William's mother Priscilla GILBERT, died 1933 in Blaenavon, never married. I am also looking for information on Williams brother, James Evan GILBERT who was born in Pontypool Union Workhouse in 1883. I would appreciate any information connecting William Henry GILBERT and the BUCK family.
Hughes family
Looking for any information on the Hughes family. Head of the family my G Grandfather William Hughes born around 1866 and living at 44 Hill Street with his wife and family and working in Blaenavon in 1911. He is recorded on the 1911 cencus as a carpenter and undertaker and it has been reported to have owned the undertakers business however as my grandfather, his oldest son, Albert, moved away and then died very young I have no information about the family. I would be very grateful for any information about the Hughes , names are William b 1866 ? Martha b 1869 ? Martha Ann b 1894 ? Albert b 1895? Henry b 1897 ?
