red mail Looking for Margarita Renni Gilchrist
I would like to trace any living members of the Gilchrist family who lived at 19 Glasgow Road Blantyre in 1953. Thomas Maitland Gilchrist and Margarita Renni Gilchrist married in 1941 and divorced around 1953. They both subsequently remarried. Thomas was born in Rothesay on the Isle of Bute in 1913 but I can find no records of Margarita's birth or birth place. Margarita married William Gardiner in 1959 and I can find no record of either of their deaths. Thomas married Catherine Mary Kerr in 1961 and they both died in the Isle of Bute Thomas in 1983 and Catherine in 2006. If anyone has any information as to their children or knowledge of them as a married couple I would love to hear about it. Thank you.
red mail Mary Strang Brown
Born c.1863 - emigrated to NZ around 1882. Don't know if whole family moved, or just Mary, as she was about 19. Likely Strang is a clue to family, not hyphenated, but often used as a middle name to indicate other family connections. Would appreciate any leads.
