JOHN JOSEPH HUGHES/MARIA WILLIAMS 1931 John Joseph Hughes was born in May 1891 in Killin County Louth. His parents were John James Hughes (1864 – 1940) and Bridget McArdle (1859 – 1894). John Joseph Hughes married a widow Maria Williams (nee Lloyd or Lough) in June 1931. The place of the marriage is not known. It is believed that John Joseph Hughes died in a drowning accident between 1931 and 1945 but his death cannot be traced. The whereabouts of his wife is not known. Does anyone know of this couple?
