My great-great grandfather Michael Shea was born September 29, 1781 in or near Caherciveen (sic) according to the "History of the Catholic Church in Indiana"(1898 (online)). He married Joanna (Johanna?) Tehan at age 58 according to Michael's obituary of March 29, 1899 in the Salt Lake Tribune and had 5 children: Thomas, Julia, Mary, Michael (who died in childhood) and James. He emigrated to the U.S. at an advanced age along with 2 sisters and his children (not all at the same time.) His oldest son Thomas is my great grandfather on my mother's side. Michael lived to be 117 according to his published obituaries and the History of the Catholic Church in Indiana. Those sources also mention that Michael's father lived to be 104 and his grandfather 114. Are there any Sheas in Kerry related to Michael? Don
