red mail Kane family from Cratloe clare early 1800's
Hi all, Looking for the parents and family of Michael Kane who was married to Ellen Naughton around the early 1800's. Their children were baptized in the Parish of Cratloe co Clare. Their names are as follows. Thomas Kane., 19th November 1817,sponsors Andy O'Halloran and Margaret McInerney John Kane., 26th October 1819,sponsors James Keane and Ann O'Halloran Mary Kane., ,28th May 1822,sponsors John Fitzpatrick and Bridget Mirrane James Kane., 29th July 1824, sponsors Mr Moriarty and Mary O'Neill Ellen Kane., 20th August 1827, sponsors Patrick Rannells and Eliza Mirrane. We believe that Michael Kane and Ellen Naughton may have been married and had another son Michael in Tuam Galway.A number of the above children married someone from Galway. Thomas married a Margaret Carrig/Carrick from Galway, this is our direct line. They came out separately to Australia , and lived in Sydney. We have four different spellings for Kane .Is there any connection out there??
