red mail Ephraim Farrell, Pawnbroker
Hi We are researching the family of Ephraim Farrell, a pawnbroker who lived in Naas, Kildare and married in Booterstown, Dublin. We are very happy to share what we know already in the hope that we can both learn something from each other. We have since found his wife's 2nd marriage and her death, plus, her parents. We hope to hear from anyone researching this family.

red mail Carr/Dowling Families in Naas, and/or County Kildare
I'm searching for any information regarding these two families. I'm specifically interested in learning who Esther "Essy" Dowling and Martin Carr's parents were. Their Children were Dennis, my 3rd ggrandfather who came to America 21 Aug 1846 and married Mary E. O'Brien in Salem, Massachusetts 14 Oct 1849. Dennis' siblings were John, James, William, Michael and Edward. Martin was buried in Nass (cemetery unknown) in 1868, and Esther's sibling may have been Peter or Charles but this is just an assumption based on Tithe Applotment books. Esther was buried in Naas in 1871, cemetery also unknown. I'd like to find out where they are buried and as stated above would like to determine who their parents were and possibly locate any family that might still be living in the area. Thanks so much for any information provided.

Michael was a bootmaker and they emigrated to Victoria Australia sometime between 1851 and 1861 and had 9 children - Teresa, Mary Ann, Elizabeth, Patrick, Caroline, John, Charles, Charlotte and Henry. The first four children were possibly born in Ireland. Seeking any information.
