STONEY family
Thomas Stoney (born 1675) emigrated from Yorkshire to Co.Tipperary about 1688. In 1712, he married Sarah Robinson of Knockshegowna, where they initially lived. Thomas died and was buried in Newport in 1726. I would like to know more about him and his family. Any information gratefully received.

red mail Stoney
I'm looking for information on the Stoney family from Newport/Tipperary area. Edward/Edmund Stoney born 1789, left the area for Canada in 1818 with his wife Jane (Long). His parents were Thomas Stoney and Catherine (Gardiner, Carter or Garter). Edmund had 2 sisters that I know of and possibly some brothers as well. Any information would be really appreciated!
red mail Allison
searching for family of William Allison and his wife, Ann (Phillips) who were farmers in Farneigh via Newport Tipperary. Their son, John, my grandfather, immigrated to Australia after having resigned from the Irish Constabulary at Cork on 6/9/1885. He married Martha Brewer in Melbourne Australia on 24/7/1888, aged 25 years.
