I am trying to trace my irish family connections my greatgrandfather was riley sharman he was born in newtown butler in 1833 .He left ireland and moved to england sometime in the 1850's or 1860's He lived in Oakham in Rutland married and settled down,and started a family here in England of which I am a part.I would dearly love to know about my irish roots. Know wonder I always feel at home ,when I visit Ireland. Any information would be GREATLY APPRETATED.

I am looking for any information on mr gr gr grandfather Charles McMANUS from Newtown Butler Co. Fermanagh. Charles married ...... BELL who died shortly after the birth of Mary Ellen in 1898-99. Charles had been a widow for 12 years according to the 1911 census. Charles and .....BELL had three children; Patrick, Charles and Mary Ellen. According to the 1911 census Patrick and Charles where living with relatives WILSON and BELL the latter being an Ellen Bell possibly the mother of Charle's wife. The WILSON connection is Mary Wilson aged 74 in the 1911 census. Charles jnr was residing with her and her husband Thomas aged 72, Charles McManus is recorded as being a nephew. Ellen BELL had her son Thomas Bell aged 25 and her 'relative' Patrick McManus aged 14 residing with her in the 1911 census. Charles McMANUS married ...... around c1895. And that's all I have folks .....
