red mail O'Brian Hill
Hi - this is a long shot, but William Thomas Hill (my great grandfather and Mary, his wife) lived in and around Leap, Roscarberry and Skibbereen approx. 1860's. My great grandfather emmigrated to Pembroke, then Merthyr Tydfil(Wales) around 1870's with his 2 brothers. He stayed in Merthyr. One of his 3 sons was my grandfather, Patrick Hill who married Jemima Thomas and they lived in Penydarren Merthyr and had 11 children. Patrick's 2 brothers returned to Co.Cork to train as Priests. Any info at all would be so welcome. Im just so lacking in any family background its pitiful! Hope you can help, thanks, Vicki
