red mail Brosnan, Mary, 1891- death date unknown; married with Curtin, Thomas.
Searching anything on Ms Mary Brosnan 1891- Unknown who was located in Castleisland, in the Tralee registration district. She married a Mr Thomas Curtin in September 1918. They had a daughter, also Mary on 19th November 1921. The child Mary moved to England and died in Sussex on 11 July 2013. Mary the mother sometimes comes up as Molly on census. Though can't be certain, it seems she might have been the daughter of yet another Mary. Thankyou.

Catherine O'SHEA born 1820s
I am trying to find my Great Great Grandmother but no little of her birth. Various dates in the 1820s are given at different times 1822 - 1827. She married in Quebec and then moved to ENgland with her husband, she is described as born Ireland, America, Quebec, Canada at various times but I am inclined to think that she was born in Ireland and emigrated rather than being born after her parents emigrated. One her marriage record in Quebec, her father in Charles John O'SHEA and mother Catherine DILLANE - it is written by a French speaking clerk and VERY garbled! I had previous found a John SHEA and Catherine DILLANE in Tralee, County KERRY but no daughter called Catherine which is surprising with that being the mother's name. They are the most likely contenders but just noticed a birth of a Catherine SHEA to a John and Catherine SHEA in Kill, County Kildarre in 1827 - they lived at Tandergee so wondering about them also though not found the marriage for the mother's maiden name.

red mail The Fleming Family
Trying to find my ancestor Mary Fleming's family. She was married to a James Doyle (Stonemason) as per my Grandmother Ellen Doyle's Birth Certificate. Ellen was born in Killorglin in 1864 .She had a brother Jason born in Castleisland in 1860 .a sister Bridget born 1866 in Killorglin also Patrick 1868 (Kerry) & Mary 1872 (Kerry). Does anyone have knowledge of this family. There is a slight probability that the Fleming family originated from Tralee has this is where my Grandmother met my Grandfather an english soldier who was serving there. I have found a Fleming Lane in Tralee can this be relating to my family?

red mail Sheehan / Sheehy, Spillane, Stretton families
Daniel Spillane married Margaret Sheehan in Tralee in 1858. Her father was Denis Sheehan and she had a brother, James, who married Mary Ann Stretton in Tralee also in 1858. James name was also listed as Sheehy, and both he and Mary Ann said that they were from Clahane just to the south of Tralee. Mary Ann's father was a William Stretton. All except Denis & William born around 1835-42. Do these names strike any cords??? They may have been from further south of Tralee towards Castlemaine.
