red mail McNeil/Attwood/Watson.
Looking for any links to a Jeanie McNeil (my gt grandmother). She was living in the parish of Cambusnethan in 1909 when she gave birth to my grandfather, Edward Henry Attwood illegitimately. (the father was Edward Henry Attwood of Caledonian Road, Wishaw). The only details I have of Jeanie are that she gave birth at 32 Orchard Row, Overtown and that she states she is a grocers assistant. The baby was taken in by the Attwood/McKenzie family of Kirk Road, Wishaw who were in fact the babies aunt and uncle. Any information would be gratefully received.
