red mail Grove Cottage, Castlemorton
I'd be pleased to hear from anyone with knowledge of the location of Grove Cottage, Castlemorton. It's likely to be no more but if so, I'd like to know where it once stood as it was the home of my Great grandfather William Hughes (d. 1900) & my Grandfather Frank Hughes (b.1898). I have previously posted enquiries re Gothic Cottage & Druggers End Lane, Castlemorton in connection with my line of research regarding the Hughes'.

Bland's Cottage
Does anyone know where Bland's Cottage was? It's supposed to be on the road to the quarry - presumably the Gullet quarry - on Castlemorton Common. It must have been fairly large - on the 1911 census, it's described as having 8 rooms. My grandmother lived there as a girl with her parents - Joseph William and Clara Louisa Howells - and siblings. I'm not sure when they 1st moved in but they were certainly living there between 1909 and 1918. Thank you.

Lane's Farm
Does anyone know where Lane's Farm is/was? My great grandparents - Joseph William & Clara Louisa Howells - lived there in the 1920s and Joseph died there in 1927. My mother visited as a child but, unfortunately, only remembers walking across the common - Castlemorton Common - from other relatives's houses to get there. Thank you.
