Where in DUBLIN did the marriage take place between RICHARD HODGINS c 1806, & MARGARET GABRIEL c 1800, in about 1828? They had links to Rathfarnham, Dublin. GEORGE GABRIEL married ESTHER, & both families were in LIVERPOOL in 1841. SAMUEL GABRIEL, c 1808, was another siblng, who married Roseane BAYLEN. He was a Chelsea Pensioner, blinded after serving in India. Richard & Margaret had two sons born Ireland - JOHN HODGINS c 1829, & SAMUEL HODGINS c 1832. Son RICHARD HODGINS was born c 1836 MANCHESTER, JAMES HODGINS c 1840 ASHTON UNDER LYNE, ANN HODGINS 1842 LIVERPOOL, BENJAMIN HODGINS 1848 LIVERPOOL. Richard Hodgins was a Boot & Shoe Maker & the family settled in WARRINGTON. Can anyone help with tracing the Irish origins of this family?

red mail Maurice Bolton Fitzgerald
I am trying to find out more about Maurice Bolton Fitzgerald, who was born at Stephen's Green on June 4th, 1856, and his family. He was a civil servant, who worked for the Inland Revenue and later Customs and Excese in England. I am especially interested in his son Robert Railton Fitzgerald, who was my mother's uncle. I believe he became a Christen Scientist and went to Kenya as a missionary. Him, his wife (Ellen) and two children (Margaret and Barbara) were never heard of again.

red mail James O'Brien
I am trying to find out more about my great grandfather James O'Brien. He was probably born around 1846. We know that he left Plymouth on the 3rd July 1863 on board the Ida Zeigler and arrived in Auckland New Zealand on 4 Oct 1863. He was listed as a messenger boy to a Major J F Moore. James married in 1868 giving his age as 22 years. He died on 15 Sept 1915 aged 70. His death certificate tells us his father was William and his mother Margaret, maiden name Cardiff. Any ideas anyone. Thanks from NZ Sarah
