Entries around
Michael Sullivan
I am interested in Michael Sullivan, whom the Griffiths Valuation (1857) shows as lessee of land in Esker (parish of Clonfert, barony of Longford, modern Catholic parish Laurencetown and Kiltormer: the plot lies on the south side of the R356, set back a bit as the road has moved, about one mile from the Banagher bridge). The plot is small, and he may have worked in the town of Banagher. His landlord was James C Harter of Manchester; his neighbours were Eliza Hart, Joseph Troad, Michael Curran, John Fechilly and James Dolan. He was I believe married to Anne Brennan, and father of Margaret baptised on 27 Oct. 1835 and Timothy born on 13 June 1847. If you have any knowledge of any of these people, please get in touch.
