red mail Sauvarin or Sauvarain
I am currently researching this name and am interested in Peter Sauvarin born circa 1808 in St Peter Port, Who were his parents and siblings? He had children with two Sarah's, one who was local to the Channel Islands, mother of Charlotte, Peter Thoma, and Richard, and Sarah Chipp mother of John. Peter moved to England and I am interested particularly in Peter Thomas born ca 1826/8 who married Elizabeth Briggs in 1858. If anyone can supply this info I would be delighted to hear from you. Many thanks.

Is anyone able to help in looking up Channel Island registers please? Very difficult to get access to them I have found ; specifically, I am looking for two burials at St. Peter Port. My ancestor I am looking for are Sarah Harris who died between 1871 & 1881, and also Harry Seward Harris who died as a child between 1861 and 1871. 'Harry' was baptised with that name 20th FEB 1861 - it isn't short for Henry, though that was his father's name).
