Thomas Cartner of The Hare and Hounds Wharton Street Coundon was my great grandfather he was married to Annie Collingwood and they had many children. My grandfather was Robert Cartner and he emigrated to new zealand. Thomas may have come from Carlise, I believe he had a wooden leg, but no nothing of Annie Collingwood. Would love to here from some one with more information.
