red mail Forsyth & Arbuckle 1750's
Moses Forsyth & Agnes Arbuckle married in EK on 7 January 1756. What was written on the marriage register - witnesses, occupation, parents, could they sign their names? Were there any children born to them? Names and chr. dates please? Were either of these two people christened in the area themselves? Who were their parents and siblings? Thanks for any help.

red mail Newton Mill
In the 1951 census brothers Charles and Archibald Miller are living at Newton Mill, East Kilbride. Can anyone tell me about this place. Thank you
John Christie/ey is said to have married Janet Jenkins in East Kilbride and had three sons before the fathers death in 1770's. Sons were John (1770), James(1773), and William (1776). Janet Jenkins is said to have married an Andrew Dick and moved to Paisley in the 1780's. Have thought that Janet could be either Margarets Juncans, or Warnock, but neither completely fit the dates. Janet Wilson may have been the father's grandmother.
