Ann Pearson was born about 1795 at Epperstone. She married John Clarke of Bradley, Derbyshire on Dec 25, 1821 at Nottingham St. Mary. John Clarke died in 1854 on Hockley St. Nottingham and was buried at Holy Cross, Epperstone. Ann Clarke died on Goldsmith Street, Nottingham in 1873 and was buried at Holy Cross, Epperstone. I have not been able to find a baptism record for Ann and would like further information on the Pearsons of Epperstone.

red mail Wesleyan Ministers
John(1790) and Edward(1792) were the sons of Edward and Ann Sumner of Epperstone. Edward entered the Wesleyan itinerancy in 1817. A John Sumner entered the intinerancy in 1811. It is possible that this was Edward's brother. We have descendants of John Sumner and are seeking confirmation of his birthplace.
