red mail Mr. J. Robb. Military chef. Italy. 1944
I am looking for Mr. Robb who was the chief cook in part of the allied operation in Tuscany, Italy during September 1944. He was posted in a place near Pergine Valdarno in the farm house belonging to a friend of mine who was then 9 years old. Mr. Robb was very touched by the terrible situation of my friend's parents who had both lost a leg by treading on a mine. He left a photograph of his baby girl who was then 3. My friend would very much like to make contact with Mr. Robb or his daughter.
red mail Stewart Family
I am trying to locate anyone related to Queenie, Charlie, Bunty or Ian Stewart (poss Stuart) Queenie and Charlie passed away around late 1950's early 1960's - They lived on a farm in Findochty and had nine children of their own, two of them name Ian and Bunty. Bunty had two children of her own David and Queenie, so named after her Grandmother. They were Catholics and regularly attended mass at St Gregory's Preshome. Charlie and Queenie raised my father and named him Sandy Stewart. Any help or links to this family would be greatly appreciated.
