red mail Thomas John Jones
I'm looking for information on my great grandfather's family Thomas John Jones 1898-1864. I know his fathers name was John Jones and he was a railway porter and they lived in 6 Warne Street Fleur-de-lis. I beleive he had siblings named Elizabeth(Lizie), Charles (Charlie) and Gwen. He married Elizabeth Hannah Butt 1902 who was from Deri. They then lived in 7 William Street Tir-y-berth.
red mail John Morgan son of Hezekiah
My G.G.Grandfather John(b 1826)was the son of Hezekiah Morgan and his Wife Ann.In 1851 Hezekiah(a pauper) was, along with Ann living in Blackwood Mon. with John, his Wife Margaret and their Daughter(my G.Grandmother)also named Margaret.By the 1861 census John and the two Margaret's had separated from Hezekiah and Ann and were living in their own accomadation the family increased by the arrival of sons John,Edwin and Daniel. In 1871 John and Margaret now lived in Fluer-de-Lis Mon.Daughter Margaret was no longer within the family group assumingly Married to my G.Grandfather William Williams.Sadly it would appear that Edwin (b.1855) has died as a new son Edwin (b1869) has joined John,Daniel and Henry(b1863). The information I seek is what happened to G.G Grandparents John And Margaret because in the 1881 census records that the Brothers now live in the Rhondda within the family of elder sister Margaret and her Husband William.Margaret died in the 1880's but the brother's remained with the Williams family. Can anyone help to solve my mystery???????
