red mail McKinnon, McBain
Looking for contacts for George Gordon McKinnon who married Barbara McBain at Rosemarkie in 1831. Children, including daughter Mary McKinnon c1833 were born at Fortrose. Mary migrated to Victoria, Aus prior to 1857. Barbara McKinnon was a midwife and moved to Inverness following Georges death in 1849.
red mail Jemima Junor(or Junner),John McKenzie
John and Jemima (my GGGrandparents) were married,Rosemarkie, 29/8/1838 and had one son Alexander b 2/3/1841,Rosemarkie. According to 1841 census Jemima and Alexander were living High Street, Rosemarkie. John a Mariner was said to be at sea. Alexander came to Australia in 1864 aged 21 presumably after his parents died(not sure). I do have a fair bit of information on the Junor/Junner connection but not so John Mckenzie. Any information on the family would be greatly appreciated.
