I am looking for information on the Heaslet family, my great grandma was born in Gartsherrie in late 1800's father's name was John Heaslet and mother was mary (I think) Kent.

william kennedy gartsherrie (Jun 05) Coatbridge Looking for information about William and Janet kennedy (nee McConnachie) who lived in Gartsherrie/Coatbridge. Married in 1872. Children were John, Joanne, James, Harry and William. The young William was born March 26, 1881.

My granny was Margaret Allison Donald whose address is given as Gartsherrie House on her marriage lines, in 1929. She was in service there. Her father was William Donald, who was an ostler living in Inchwood Farm Cottage, Kilsyth. Williams parents were Alexander Donald and Jane Dick. William was born in 1869 and married Maggie Russell Thompson from Bothkennar in 1906.
