John GITTINGS, born c1834, Brierley Hill Brierley Hill
Looking for information on the above, please. I believe that he was born around 1834 at Brockmoor, Brierley Hill (based on census information) and migrated to the Middlesbrough area where he married Susan OLD in 1886. John died at Middlesbrough in Q4 1891, whereupon Susan went on to marry John ESHELBY in Q1 1893. Susan seems to have died at Middlesbrough in 1929.

red mail COX Family Sedgley Sedgley
According to a family Bible record Sarah COX was born May 29th 1799. Christened and Registered at St. Peters Wolverhampton. I've searched the St. Peters' records and cannot find her listed. A recent DNA match suggests that she may have been born to a COX family of Sedgley, a short distance from Wolverhampton. Are there Sedgley church records on-line (or off-line) that can be searched? I'm looking for names of her parents.
red mail Thomas JEVONS/JEAVONS born circa 1770 Coseley
Hi. Searching for info on Thomas Jevons/Jeavons or Elizabeth Stanley who were born circa 1780 and their son Thomas. Thomas senior married Elizabeth 21/08/1804 in Sedgley. I know from Coseley Old Meeting Hall records that he was a screw/nail manufacturer and her parents were named Thomas and Elizabeth. Their sons William and Thomas and daughter Sarah were all baptised at the meeting hall so religion was Presbyterian. Thomas (b1805) was baptised in the house of Timothy Jeavons. He married Rebecca Gibbons 10/04/1828 at Wolverhampton St Peter, and later ran the White Swan, Dudley street, Wolverhampton. However he was described as a traveller when his son William got married. Any help gratefully accepted!
