Entries around
Thomas JOnes
Am seeking info regarding ggfather. He was born on APril 1, 1856 in Holyhead to James JOnes and and Jane James (who had been married before with a son Owen). He had two brothers James and Owen. Thomas immigrated in about 1882 and settled in New YorkMills, New YOrk. James and Evan also immigrated to the US but I am not sure of the year. THey settled in or around OAkland California and worked in the shipyards. I have found a family in the 1882 census that could be them but the birth date for THomas is off by two years.

red mail WOODBINE HOUSE
My father's family lived in Woodbine House, Newry Street, in 1930. My grandfather changed his name to Williams, which we think was his mother's maiden name. We believe that originally it was 'Jones' and two of his aunts in 1930 were 'Ellen' and 'Mary'. Because of the change of name and the number of 'Jones's' it's really difficult to trace back the family. Any help would be most appreciated.

red mail William Henry Roberts dob 1875
I am searching for infomation on my Gt Grandfather William Henry Roberts born 1875 in Holyhead; he died in Pontypridd, Glamorgan in 1920. As he never married I do not have any details of his father from a marriage certificate. He did have a son who was give the name William George Roberts. His partners father's name was also William so was George the name of William's father? Does anyone have a George Roberts who had a son named William Henry who was born around 1875? Any help will be very much appreciated.
red mail Charlie Hubbard
Charlie Hubbard was a gunner in the English Navy, but he was from Scotland. He served in first world war. The English boats arrived in Holyhead, so he would have been in Holyhead in 1918 when he met Annie (Catherine Ann Jones) as their child Olwen Hubbard Jones was born in 1919. She was probably premature as she only weighed 4lbs at birth. Apparently Charlie was already married. Any help in tracing Charlie would be hugely appreciated.
red mail Owen Edward Williams
I am looking for any relation or friend of the family of Owen Edwards WILLIAMS of Holyhead: Owen Edwards Williams, born July 6, 1895 son of Owen and Mary Williams of Holyhead, baptized August 1895 in Bethel Wesleyan Chapel in Holyhead. Siblings: Thomas H. ( 1883); Ellen, (1884); Kate (1888); Annie, (1892). Owen Edwards Williams was a carpenter and worked for the London & North Western Railway Company in Holyhead. Married Margaret Thomas in August 1925 at Bethel Wesleyan Chapel; died in 1967. Any information about the Williams family would be greatly appreciated.
red mail Rowlands family search
I am trying to locate the Rowlands family from the Holyhead area. The information I have is a Thomas Rowlands married a Sarah Harris in 1934, they went on to have 6 children. The eldest was Richard who I believe married a Mary jones in 1960 and they had 2 daughters before separating. Richard was a minister in the forces then went on to run a chicken farm in Anglesey. Richard passed away in 1995. Richards siblings were Huwel, Margaret, John, Isabel and Catherine. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
