red mail Barclay/Burns
I am trying to trace information regarding my grandfather, born 1868, he married a Martha Burns from County Down Ireland, the only information is that in 1901they lived in Liverpool, with one remaining child of seven.
red mail Dillons of Kilbirnie and Ireland
I am looking for the Irish roots of Neil Dillon who Married Jane Herrie; they later emmigrated to Scotland in the 1840s and settled in Kilbirnie. They had three sons, Neil, William and Daniel. Neil Jr Married Catherine McGarrity, and they had at least one child, Catherine Dillon who later married Samuel Asbury. Catherine lived in the Dennyholm and was a mill worker; she died at 15 Dennyholm, Kilbirnie, Ayrshire, Scotland. Most (if not all) Dillons living in Kilbirnie may have their roots in Neil and Jane, and any help in finding their Irish origins would be appreciated.
