red mail Watkins / Hodges
Any information on the Watkins family from Llangattock-Vibon-Avel would be welcome. Elizabeth Watkins (b c.1759), daughter of James Watkins and Jane(?) married 30 June 1782 William Hodges born Monmouth. James Watkins died c.1810 and left a will which was admitted to probate. William and Elizabeth had nine children of whom son Henry born 1798 married Eliza Van Wyck in London and migrated to Australia in 1854. It looks like one of Henry's brothers, James, moved to London in the 1820s. Did all the family move? Any information would be gratefully received.
red mail Llangattock Farm
I am looking for information about a Jane Morriss, a dairymaid at Llangattock farm circa 1919, who had a baby called Edna May on October 11th 1919 in Moreton, the Wirral
red mail William Powell
William Powell, born March 1, 1838 in Llangatock, Monmouthshire was my great grandfather. From U.K.census records we have determined that William was a highway surveyor, and at different times lived in Christchurch, Hampshire, and Faringdon, Berkshire. One of his sons, Albert Arthur Powell was my grandfather. We would appreciate any information about William and his other children: Edgar P. Powell, Madeline Mabel Powell, and Mervyn Percy Powell.
