red mail parry family
I am researching my family's links with Llanrhuyddlad. My great great great grandfather David Parry lived in the village and worked as a labourer. His son my great great grandfather William was a stonemason and moved to Dyserth later to liverpool where he married Margaret Jones at St David's church. Margaret was born in Dyserth her father was a miner.Any information would be gratefully received.
red mail Rowlands and Williams in Llanrhyddlad
Hi, I am seeking any information on the Rowlands families of Llanrhyddlad in the 1800s. Robert Rowlands (b. 1849) married Mary Elizabeth Williams (b. 1851), who bore two children - Hugh (1868) and Elizabeth Mary (1870). I believe she died shortly after the 1871 census, when her mother Margaret Williams lived with the family. Am seeking Margaret's maiden name, as well as any additional information on her husband William Williams (b.1834) who also apparently died fairly young (before 1871 anyway). Both Hugh and Elizabeth Mary emigrated to Utica New York in 1888 and 1892 respectively. It seems many Williams also emigrated to that town from Llanrhyddlad around the same time. Also would like any info on the ancestors of Robert Rowlands, son of William and Elizabeth Rowlands, both born about 1814. Hope to visit Anglesey someday - thanks for any info! -Stan
