red mail William Westcott Ringwood
Hi, Does anyone have any information on William Westcott, born 18th November 1763, Martock, Somerset, died 22nd December 1848, Ringwood. He married Martha (patty) Jennings at Christchurch Priory 17th April 1788. I believe that, like his son Charles Stephen Westcott (born 25th February 1800) also of Ringwood, that he was a surgeon, but have not been able to find anything else about him. I would particularly like to identify his parents, but have not found a christening record at Martock, so he may have been christened elsewhere. many thanks for any help anyone can offer. best wishes Richard Jones

William John Brewer/Weeks Sixpenny Handley
I am trying to find information about William John Brewer, born 1868 in Cranborne to Charlotte Brewer. After Charlotte married John Weeks in October 1868 in Cranborne, the 1871 and 1881 Census shows the family living in Sixpenny Handley and William is now known as William Weeks. A William J Weeks of the right age is recorded arriving in Maryborough, Queensland, Australia in 1888, travelling on the Dorunda. Is this my William, what happened next?

red mail Moses Cutler origins Fordingbridge
I am searching for the Roots of Moses Cutler of Fair Island, Newfoundland, Canada. He was my GGGrandfather but I have no Info regarding his Birth Date or Death Date. He married around 1824 and had 8 children. I have done extensive research and I have discovered the following: *A Moses Cutler of Poole, a Master Mariner sailed to Newfoundland as Captain of: - The SUKEY - 1779 - The PURBECK - 1781 - The PURBECK - 1782 And somewhere in 1786 with and apprentice William Arnold Copps. I believe this Moses Cutler moved from Sopley to Poole. In SOPLEY : 1770 John Adey Married Mary Slidel (official Record) and in 1771 Moses Cutler ( Born about 1750) Married Mary Ady(Adey) - (official Record) John Adey died in 1778 and Mary Ady died 1782(official Records) On March 27, 1783 Moses Cutler(widower) married Mary Adey(widow) (Official record). I believe this is the surviving couple above since they were widow and widower. A Moses Cutler and Mary Cutler produced TWO children, baptized at St. James, Poole: o John born - July 9, 1784 (likely named after Marys deceased husband John was possibly Mosess deceased wifes brother. Her father was also John. o Moses born - May 31, 1786 A JOHN CUTLER, Planter, died in Newfoundland in 1794. A legal notice in the Hampshire Chronicle of November 22, 1794 requested anyone having debts or owing money to same, to contact his brother and administrator, Moses Cutler of Poole(Mariner) or Thomas Parr, Attorney. Obviously this is not the John (B.1784) but the brother of their father. It is likely that he was single. The SENIOR Moses and brother John were born around 1750 (+/- 5 years) A Moses Cutler died on August 4, 1800 and was buried at St. James, Poole Any suggestions of where I might go from here would be greatly appreciated.
