red mail Ann Hardy nee Sherring 1838 Bradford Abbas
I'm trying to find out what happened to Ann (nee SHERRING) after 1871. She married George Thomas HARDY in 1858 in Bradford Abbas and they had two children - Edwin about 1861 and William in 1866. They were together in 1871 living in East Lydford. Oral family history has it that George married "Lily" and when Edwin was a small boy she left and went to America with another man. George said he was a widower in 1881 but I can't find a death record and neither can I find who Lily was - was it a nickname/pet name? Any help appreciated - thank-you
