Whites from Monmouth
I would like to hear from the descendants of Jeanette (Nettie) White from Monmouth. Jeanette (nee Bottom) married William White in Bosbury in 1901. They had a son Arthur and a daughter Dolly.
Could anyone please help. I am trying to find Edward Shellard, my granddad born about 1769 or thereabouts. We now think he may have been born in Wales, Monmouth. His mother Lydia and dad Nathan. Anyone please help Sandra
red mail Hodges, Watkins
Any information on the Hodges family from Monmouth would be welcome. Henry Hodges born 1798, ninth child of William Hodges and Elizabeth Watkins (b 1759) who married at Llangattock Vibon Avel on 30 June 1782. Henry married Eliza Van Wyck in London and migrated to Australia in 1854. It looks like one of Henry's brothers, James, moved to London in the 1820s. Any information would be gratefully received.
