WRANGHAM Kirk Merrington
I'm looking for information on the origins of Ann WRANGHAM. She was probably born c1738, somewhere in the southern part of Co Durham, and married Thomas KITCHEN (sometimes KITCHING) (1737 - 1810) at Kirk Merrington in 1755. Ann died at Auckland St Andrew in 1826. They had the following children: Mary (1768), Thomas (1769), Eleanor (1771 - 1818), Catherine (1776), Dorothy (1778 - 1864), Ralph (1782), Elizabeth (1782) and Martha (1785). I am descended from their daughter Eleanor.

red mail Bowes Family, Wackerfield, UK Wackerfield
I am a direct descendant of the Bowes family from Wackerfield. At present I can 100% trace my direct grandfathers back to Robert Bowes (born 1735 in Staindrop). Robert married Elizabeth Robson (born 1739 in Staindrop). I believe Robert's father was John Bowes (born 1698 in Staindrop), however I require my proof to be 100% certain. Any help anyone can offer on the above would be greatly appreciated. Similarly I am happy to share all information I have regarding the Bowes family of Wackerfield should anyone require it. Many thanks!
red mail MAZZUCCHI Crook near Bishop Auckland
I am searching for the parents and possible siblings of CARLOS BORROMEO MAZZUCCHI, born in Stazzona, Como area of Lombardy, Italy, approximately 1835 and died in Crook, Durham, England on April 8 1905. A carver and guilder, clockmaker and Jeweller. He is listed in the 1861 census in Crook, as a lodger, so he would have immigrated to England sometime prior to that date. His fathers name is listed as Gaspert Mazzucchi, a farmer, on his marriage certificate. Estimated birth date of his father around 1813 and death before 1862.
red mail Anthony Jackson Shildon
My grandfather Anthony Jackson b. 25 Feb 1869 in Old Shidon and his father according to his marriage document with my grandmother was John George Jackson, both were coal miners. According to the documents I have, he was in the Gordon Highlanders for 2 1/2 years, Royal Artillery for 8 months and then joined the London Metropolitan Police for 12 1/2 yrs, later in Canada he also joined the CEF in 1916. His birthdate and place of birth are confirmed by the London Metropolitan Police while he changed his birth year to 1874 to come to Canada. I think his first wife was Elizabeth Copeland and they were married in the second quarter of 1887 registered in Durham, but I am not sure. Any help or enlightenment would be appreciated. Ian
