Bank Row - Morgan
Does anyone know if 3 Bank Row, Penclawdd, Swansea exists, this is an address written by hand on my Grandfather William Morgan's army cover for discharge documents of WW1. it is written in a different handwriting from the offical information. I am trying to trace William Morgan and was hoping that this is an address that he lived or visited, at one time William Morgan lived at 12 Tin Street Cardiff. Any information would be appreciated. Regards, Pauline

red mail Samuel Guest
I am trying to find out why my 3x great grandfather Samuel Guest, and his wife Margaret (nee Spence) lived in Penclawdd for a short time and had all 5 children baptised at once in 1836. Does anyone have any clues? If you are connected I have loads of info on the family after 1841.
red mail pugh/ francis in penclawdd
i am looking for information on my great grandmother. She was called Ann Francis and maried Thomas John Pugh. They had Stan, Elsie, Marion, Thomas Haydn and David Pugh. They lived for some time in the Royal Oak pub in Penclawdd alongside thomas john parents who were david pugh and his wife Anne whos maiden name was Hughes. My grandfather was born in 1914 and somewhere after this his parents seperated. His father moved to London and him and his siblings were brought up by their grandparents. Until they died and they all moved to London to find their father. What we do not know is what happened to Ann pugh nee. Francis. Did she stay in the village, remarry etc. We would love any information on this or any memories of the pugh family in the pub the royal oak. Previous to this they were coalminers and i believe Anne Pugh. nee Hughes brother owned and run the Blue anchor pub.
