red mail Sculptor/Potter of Margam
My G G uncle William Fower 1864 Ashby de la Zouch married Catherine Emily Christopher and had 2 children Beatrice May 1894 and Olive M 1902.In 1891 he lived in Aberavon and in 1901 & 1911 lived at 17 Ynysygwas Cottages, Margam. He was a sculptor/potter. I have found Ynysygwas Hill on a map, no doubt the cottages have long since gone. Was this cottage also a pottery as well as his residence? If anyone has any old photos of the cottages or any information about the Fower family and the pottery please contact me. Thank you.
