Bufton Family Research
I am in the process of researching the surname BUFTON which links with my family tree dating back to 1515. I have very little information re this surname but do have a document linked to a John Edward Bufton Born (July) 1901 in Rhayader - his father is also of the same name. He married my grandmother Alice Beatrix HOLMWOOD in 1943 in the town of Reigate, Surrey. Any feedback or info. would be greatly appreciated.

red mail Evans/Smith
My grandmother, Ellen Blanch Evans, was born in Wales around 1876. I know that she lived around Rhayader for at least part of the time. In approximately 1906 she married George Smith who had been born in Aberdeen, Scotland, and had gone to work inWales as a young man. They left for US/Canada shortly thereafter. My grandmother returned to Wales when my mother was born in June 1908, and then returned to Canada. She made one more trip back in 1925. She died in 1937 in Canada. I believe shecame from a fairly large family, but am not having much luck pinning them down. Her father's name may have been Richard.
