maria roberts
Any imformation on a Maria Roberts born about 1816.On one of the census'it states that she was born in Writhall,Wales and another that she was born in Ruthin,Wales.I can't find Writhall at all so I have concluded that it was a spelling mistake. She was my gt gt grandmother and marrried my gt gt grandfather William Whittle born about 1811,who was an engine driver. He was born in Lancashire.

red mail Lexow Kurt
I am trying to trace Kurt Lexow who was a German POW based at Pool Park camp Ruthin. In 1947 he married a local girl , Brenda Miller and they had two daughters and one son .The marriage ended and he subsequently married Jean Walton in 1955 and they had a son Stephen and a daughter Margaret. This marriage also ended and it could be that he then returned to Germany , can anyone please confirm this ?

I am searching for any descendants of Edward Turner who marries an Alice Jones in 1823 in Ruthin. They had several sons and daughters who were all born in Ruthin, Edward, Eliza, Thomas, Isaac to name but a few. I am descended from Thomas. Are there any other Turner's out there in Ruthin trying to trace their family tree?

red mail Ethel evans
I am interested in any information about the later part of the life of Ethel Batten EVANS, born JONES in 1898 in Denbigh, she was brought up in Ruthin and moved to Manchester in 1932 where she marries William Pryce EVANS. After that I lose track of her until her death in Rhyl as a very old lady in 1994. I know that her brother Hayden BATTEN JONES and sister Tegwen B J were still alive and living either with or near her in Grange Road in the town. I've managed to locate her grave in Ruthin, but I'm desperate for a photograph of Ethel. If anyone knew the family and has an old photograph languishing in a drawer somewhere I'd be so grateful for a copy. Thanks

red mail Blacksmiths Richard and John Jones
Any information required about Richard Jones, Blacksmith, born in Llanharan, Ruthin, Denbighshire in 1782. Richard was married to May, born 1779 and they resided in Llanrhydd Street Ruthin in 1851. There is a possibility of this being my great, great, great grandfather and i wish to know anything about him in order to research further. If Richard had a son John, Blacksmith, born in 1802 who married Eleanor Thomas in 1851, then this would be very interesting to me.
red mail Roberts, Edward
I am searching for any information that may help me locate my gt gt grandfather, numerous census records show his YOB 1815, Ruthin, Denbigshire. In 1847 he was the first incumbent rector of St Pauls, Seacombe. He married Isabella kendall in Liverpool, Lancanshire Feb 1849 at St Catherines Liverpool, Lancanshire. On the parish register his father was noted as John Roberts - Gentleman - I am unable to make further connections. Isabella's father was noted as George Kendall.
