I am trying to find the parents of ELIZA MARRIOTT born 1868 Alfreton, District of Belper, Derbyshire I know she married THOMAS NEHEMIAH SPENCER BYARD on the 14th June 1891 at Wirksworth. On the Wirksworth site it has her marriage but no fathers name has been added. UPDATE 20/2/2009 I have now found that ELIZA's mother was a HANNAH MARRIOTT Born Abt 1845 at Wessington father unknown. HANNAH'S mother was HANNAH MARRIOTT & father possibly WILLIAM HOUGH

Hi - my gran was born Elsie May Smedley at South Normanton. Her mum was Adeline Smedley, who later married Samual Bent. I have lots of info on the Smedleys if anyone wants it, but nothing at all on Bent - believed born at Sutton in Ashfield. Aaron BOOTH (coalminer) was married to Emily Ann ROBINSON & they had 3 children, Mary Adelaide, Aaron & Arthur. Emily died and Aaron remarried EmmaCHALKLEY of Luton & had a daughter Anna G. I am very interested in finding out about Mary Adelaide who married James Bernard SIMPSON but I do not know where or when.
