red mail WALDEN 'S
I have been building a substantial family tree, starting in 2005 when I finally summoned up the courage to dig into my paternal family in Normandie- I have been a member of the cg50 ever since .CG50 is the area/county which in my case is Manche - i.e the upper part of the Cherbourg peninsula. Not only did I have a Norman family but I recently discovered a link to Brittany on that side of the family to. I left the English tree to fester ... Thinking I had plently of time - but loosing 7 family members in quick time including both of my parents concentrates the mind . I have dug backwards using the English family tree records back to 1762 to a George Walden & Jane Bussell.
