Harriett PRESS
Harriett died on the 13th March 1895 at the Union Workhouse, Mansfield. Her death certificate shows her as aged, 74 being a charwoman of Sutton in Ashfield. I am trying to determine if she is my ancestor. I cannot yet find her on the 1891 census. Can anyone provide any further information about Harriett. Nottinghamshire Council have no records for the Workhouse. Terry

red mail Walton Family
I have recently visited Sutton in Ashfield to trace my family roots, Walton's seem to have had quite a connection with the town. I would really like to know if there are any living relatives and or anyone who may have known about the Family. My branch of the family seem to have left the town in the mid to late 1800's, to persue work in the mines in the Coalville area. So anyone who can increase the information I already have in place would be most welcome.
