red mail William Westcott Ringwood
Hi, Does anyone have any information on William Westcott, born 18th November 1763, Martock, Somerset, died 22nd December 1848, Ringwood. He married Martha (patty) Jennings at Christchurch Priory 17th April 1788. I believe that, like his son Charles Stephen Westcott (born 25th February 1800) also of Ringwood, that he was a surgeon, but have not been able to find anything else about him. I would particularly like to identify his parents, but have not found a christening record at Martock, so he may have been christened elsewhere. many thanks for any help anyone can offer. best wishes Richard Jones

red mail Moorland Farm, W. Moors West Moors
I am trying to locate Moorland Farm on a map. My mother Eva B.M. BRICKELL was living there at the time of the 1911 Census with her parents Sidney Charles and Wiinifred Mary, her siblings and other relations. Their house was burnt down sometime in 1912 and they lost virtually everything. They moved to Wiltshire afterwards. The fire happened on the day of the Congregational Chapel Anniversary - they were there at the time. Does anyone know what date the anniversary is?
