red mail Beaumont
From The Century Cyclopedia of Names 1895 Francis Beaumont was born at Grace Dieu, Leicestershire in 1584 and died 6th March 1616 and was buried in Westminster Abbey. An English dramatist and poet. He entered Oxford in 1596 at the age of 12 and in 1600 entered the Inner Temple, but apparently did not pursue his legal studies. In 1602 he published Salmacis and Hermaphroditus, a poem after the style of Ovid. In 1613 he produced - A Masque for the Inner Temple - and about this time he married Ursula the daughter of Henry Isley of Sundridge in Kent. His close personal and literary intimacy with John Fletcher dated from about 1607. They lived together not far from the Globe Theatre on the Bankside, sharing everything in common.

red mail Moore/Barlow
My G.G Grandad Joeph Moore was born in Thringstone abt.1833. He married Elizabeth Barlow born Ashby de la Zouch abt. 1821. They had 8 children all born in Thringstone between 1856 and 1878 I would love to hear from anyone with information that I can add to my family history.
red mail Ann Tomlinson/Mary Evans
Ann Tomlinson is identified in various census records as the wife of John Wibberley, and is said to have been born in Thringstone. I believe that she married William Evans in Ashby de la Z in 1845. Wm died soon thereafter, and Ann remarried to John Wibberley in 1848. Ann is also referred to as Mary Evans in her daughter's death certificate, so I expect that her full birth name (ca 1825) was probably Mary Ann (or Ann Mary) Tomlinson. Interested to hear from anyone with coinciding interests.
red mail Roome
Albert Roome born 1798 in Thringstone married to Laura, who was born in Shepshed. They had a daughter Stella born Whitwick (my grandma), and a daughter Agnes Mary born Whitwick. Albert Roome in 1911 aged 23 was an over looker stone crusher, according to 1911 census. Any info appreciated.
