red mail James Williams 1760
I am Australian, and sixth generation from James Williams. He came to Australia as a Marine in the first fleet in 1788. I am visiting Wales ( including in particular Wrexham) in July 2020. I have traced my direct male relatives ( Howard) to the year 1500, but cannot locate any information on James. I would appreciate any information which is available to help me with James, and his ancestry.

red mail John Powell
Searching for anything on John Powell who lived in Pentrefelin and also Gresford. He was born around 1820, but I am not not sure where he was born. I have him on the 1851 census married to Jane, with a daughter called Mary. His occupation was as a Sawyer and place of birth as Wrexham. This is all I know about him.

red mail MacDonald Jenkins
I am looking to trace the MacDonald family who lived in Wrexham between 1854 and 1862 at least. They had a daughter Elizabeth born in 1862 in 1881 she was working as a Farm Servant at Wrockwardine Shropshire for a William James born 1841 in Hanley Staffordshire. It is believed that Elizabeth was only born with one or only part of one arm. According to the Census of 1881 William James was Married to a Martha also born in Wrexham in 1854 and could possibly be Elizabeths older sister. Elizabeth later married a John Jenkins born 1857 in Newtown Montgomeryshire at Croxton Staffordshire and in 1891 was living in CRoxton
