red mail Tidders in Aston Clinton
HI I am trying to trace my Tidder family and have found a large number in the Aston Clinton area between the 1500's and 1700's and I am trying to find a link between the Tidders in Aston Clinton and those in East London. The main Tidder I am looking for is Joseph Tidder born around 1791 married to Eleanor Nanfan.Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
red mail Robinson of Aston Clinton
My grandfather, Arthur Robinson, born in 1880 in Aston Clinton (possibly Weston Road), was the youngest of a large family of Charles and Emma Robinson. Emma was daughter of Joseph Fowler and Ann Brazier. Charles' father was George Robinson (1791-c1860) and mother Ann (also a Fowler). Charles Robinson was verger at St Michael & All Angels in Aston Clinton, & is buried there. Other surnames that pop up are Foulger, Goodson, Jarman, and Burnham. My grandmother was Edith Mary Flack, born 1881. I am trying to trace descendants and living family of the Robinsons. Arthur Robinson was a butcher with shops in Walton- on-the-Hill & Warlingham (Surrey). He has sadly disappeared without trace, probably passing away in the 1960s in Harpenden.
