I was wondering whether anybodypossibly help me in my quest to find John Duff, a long-serving former President of the Braemar Royal Highland Society. My name is Kerry Shore & my Great Grandmother was Ann Duff who immigrated to Australia with her husband James Lindsay & their only child John Lindsay (my Grandfather). I have a beautiful leather bound photo album with approx 25 old family portraits but unfortunately no one has a clue to who they are & wish theyd asked my Grandfather before his passing. Ive been lead to believe that John Duff has done extensive family research & Im desperate to solve this mystery of the photos for my Dad. Dad is 89 this year & he has never seen a photo of his Grandparents ( who are probably in the photo album) & my last hope is that John will have information that could help. I dont know where else to turn to find John, its such a popular name & Ive been searching for years with no luck. Kind Regards Kerry

My maternal greatgrandfather is William Findlay born in Scotland around 1852. His second wife, Edith, is my greatgrandmother. They had two children, Ronald (my greatgrandfather) and Gordon. Gordon's first wife was named Marjory and they had two daughters. Godon's second wife was named Prudence and they had no children but raised Prudence's orphaned neices and newphews. William had possibly six children from is first marriage, one being named Hellen. William ran a carpet manufacturing firm in Yorkshire. Ronald, my greatgrandfather, and his wife Grace Batten had two daughters. My mother, Betty, married Richard (Stan) Cartwright in 1948 and they immegrated to the USA in 1950. I was born in Louisville, KY and am an only child. I am looking for any possible descendants.
