Harry was the second eldest of ten siblings. He married Rachel Davies in 1892 in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. He then lived in Chester, Cheshire with his wife and 3 children. On the 1911 Census he is listed as living in Braddan, Isle of Man, aged 39. Harry's profession was as a tailor.
