red mail O'CONNOR PERDEAUX GAMBLE
I would like to exchange information about the following - Mary Ann O'CONNOR baptised 23 Aug 1857 Catholic Church Enniskeane which is a town next to Ballineen, Cork. At the time there was no Catholic Church in Ballineen so Catholics would cross theRiver Bandon to Enniskeane to have their children baptised. I assume she lived in Ballineen as a 'Ballineen' nameplate was displayed on the front of her house in Brisbane. Her parents were Michael O'CONNOR and Mary Ann PERDEAUX (or a variant of thissurname). Mary Ann O'CONNOR migrated to Queensland, Australia about 1873. She was related to HEALY and PERDEAUX in Queensland. She married John GAMBLE in Brisbane and they raised a large family. She was also related to the McCORMACK family ofTipperary, Ireland
