Looking for information with regard to my great grandfather, Andrew McCleary,who was killed in 1912 aged 31, he was originally from Clough,however, had made the Journey across the water to Scotland, settled in Bo'ness where he married my great grandmother Annie McCleary |
Elliots of Dunaghy
I was lucky to find my ancestors on 1851 census in Dunbought Townland, Dunaghy which I think is south of Clough. The name is Elliott and some of them are buried in Clough cemetery. My ancestor Catherine Elliott was married to John Walker in 1870.I am hoping to visit from England next Spring and would love to find these places and find out more.

Fulton and Kennedy
Looking for info. on the Fultons of Clough in the late 1800's. Parents were William and Mary Jane Fulton (ms Kennedy) and children included James, Thomas,Lizzie, Agnes and Joseph. The family eventually emigrated to Scotland and the USA.
