Hi, I am looking into the Ryans who lived in a small townland County Tipperary called Shanaknock. As you would expect there are so many Ryans that it makes it difficult to know if you are looking at the right family. If anyone has any knowledge of said Ryans from Shanaknock I would be interested to hear from them

red mail Ryan / Doyle Boherbue, Boherboy
I am looking for information regarding the parents of my great grandmother Ellen Ryan, married to Lawrence Haggerty. I recently found that her parents were Michael Ryan and Ellen Doyle. It is believed that they and their families originated in County Cork. One piece of information mentions Boherbue, but without confirmation or specifics. I have no dates for birth, death or marriage, but Ellen Ryan was born in 1851 (definite), which would assume her parents would have been born 1825-1835. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
