Michael McNamara emigrated to Australia about 1840 with wife Mary Keily and dau Elizabeth Mary Anne (possibly more children). He was born about 1810 in the Ennis/Carahan area. Mary died before 1847, when he remarried in Sydney. He was a publican in Sydney for many years, and died in 1880. Trying to establish if he is a brother or close relative of Anne Roche (nee McNamara, my g.g.grandmother), as there is a lot of evidence for this, but no proof. These are very common names! I am looking for any information on the White family John married Kate Healy in Ennis in 1890. After the marriage they had Michael in1893,Annie in 1897 and Janie 1900. I believe that Annie moved to England as she was there during WW1. The 1911 census shows no evidence of the family though John died in Ennis in 1924 and Kate in 1942. As Janie registered the death I know she did not marry but did have care of a Michael Fawley at some stage. (From local gossip) Can anyone help?
